Calgary, Alberta, will host The 2016 JUNO Awards and JUNO Week celebrations from March 28 – April 3, 2016! The 45th annual JUNO Awards will be broadcast on CTV from The Scotiabank Saddledome on Sunday, April 3, 2016. The JUNO Awards last visited Calgary in 2008!

 

The JUNO Awards has evolved from an industry awards event to a weeklong festival that travels city to city across the country. It encompasses both public-facing fan events and industry/networking opportunities featuring a diverse array of Canadian artists and emerging talent. The JUNO Week events include JUNO Songwriters’ Circle, JUNOfest, JUNO Fan Fare, JUNO Cup, and more! The JUNO Awards were created to celebrate and promote Canadian music and artists.

This January 28, 2016 event supports BB4CK: Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids works in partnership with Calgary schools to make and deliver free healthy lunches for students who would otherwise go hungry.  The head chefs from the Brakemen Foundation and Calgary Petroleum Club are back for the 2nd Annual Celebrity Chef Showdown! Rumour has it that the Head Chef of Petroleum Club will be taking on home chef and Britsh Consul General.
