Calgary Philharmonic - Concert for Kindness Oct 18, 2017


(Calgary, Canada) Tickets are now available for the benefit concert featuring the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and acclaimed Taiwenese-American pianist Ms. Gwhyneth Chen. The Concert for Kindness will take place on Wednesday, October 18th at the Grace Presbyterian Church downtown and supports the programs at The Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre Society to alleviate homelessness, marginalization and extreme poverty.

Ms. Chen joins the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Chopin Concerto No.2. The evening will be rounded out by more music from the Orchestra, including Schubert's Symphony No.5 and Mozart's Overture to Cosi fan tutte.

VIP guests will enjoy treats from in-kind food sponsors, Ollia Macarons & Tea and Fiasco Gelato. Cafe Beano will provide hot drinks at the VIP reception and operate a pop-up coffee shop outside of the church for general admission guests to enjoy during intermission.

Tickets are $40 each and available through EventBrite. All concert proceeds support homeless Calgarians at the Calgary Drop-In & Rehab Centre. Supporters can also text KINDNESS to 45678 to donate directly.
